Starting our adventure.

Hello everyone, well that month that I talked about has come and gone.... Meaning I am MARRIED!! It has seriously been the best happiest thing ever being able to say that I am sealed to by best friend and love of my life for time and all eternity! Lets just talk about the week leading up to it, I went home on the Tuesday before we got married drove home with my bestie/maid of honor and her fiance ( Jill and Logan ), haha that was quite a drive we had way to much fun! Anyways, that night I just went straight to bed and then Wednesday my mom and spent the day together making sure everything is completely ready for Saturday then all us girls went and got our nails done and that night my moms sweet and kind best friends threw me a bridal shower, which was so much fun! Thursday and Friday just flew by, and going through the temple was the most amazing thing in the whole world! And finally Saturday morning rolled around and I was so excited, nervous, scared, happy, and every other possible emotion you can think of... which was the best feeling ever!! That day couldn't have been more perfect yes some silly little things happened but I didn't let them stress me out at all because I was just so incredibly happy! Our sealing was so happy and wonderful, and we got to exit through the front doors of the Newport Beach Temple which was so cool being the one coming out that everyone was cheering happily for. The rest of the day was bliss it was so fun spending time with my family and my new family also it was great seeing so many friends at our reception and it was so nice how many people supported us! Then it was off to our honeymoon which was so much FUN!!! We started it off with a red eye to Miami, then we spent about 4 hours window shopping waiting to check into our hotel. # of those 4 hours were spent in target and I am pretty sure the workers thought we were weirdos haha. Once we were able to check into our hotel we slept like the rest of the day, then Tuesday the real fun began!! We first took a bus ride down to the Florida Keys and then took and hour boat ride out to a reef to go snorkeling for an hour and then the boat ride back, it was seriously so much fun defiantly my favorite part of the trip, I think it was because Matt loved it so much it was so fun watching him enjoy it so much and being so happy! Wednesday was animal day, to the seaquarium and the zoo. Thursday we went to a gator farm, road a fan boat, watched a gator show, and held a baby gator, after that we were off to the beach. No wonder people love the beaches in Florida they are so pretty and the water is so warm it was a blast! Finally to end the week of wedding celebrations we had our second reception at my WONDERFUL brother and sister in laws house! That was also very very fun, they did a great job and made it so happy and great! Now we are both back to the grid living in our tiny but adorable little apartment working like crazy and loving married life, being able to come home to each other is the best happiest thing ever! :)

Here's to the Future!

Well folks those three weeks that I recently talked about have thankfully come and gone.
I am officially graduated from Paul Mitchell the School Provo and it feels so incredible! It is still very serial to  me, a part of me feels like I just started last year. I can honestly remember driving up here and moving all my stuff in and how stinking excited I was to begin my new journey in school, and what a journey it was. I met and was impacted by so many amazing people! The learning leaders that taught me and connected with me I just want to say thank you so much! Each of you are huge mentors to me and each did something special for me while I was in school in order for me to achieve my goal of graduating and getting my licence and now I can thanks to you all for couching me and teaching me the proper things! Also I would like to give a shout out to my girls that helped keep me wanting to come back because getting down to the wire there was a little hard for me and I don't think I could have done it without you all: My Hill bo, Sweet Katie, Mamma Dally, Karissa, Emily, Lindsey Kay Clark, Lindsey Lish, and Britt Britt! a special thanks to you ladies you all mean a great deal to me and I know that our friendship will continue after our hair school days are done. :)

Now onto the future, its coming quickly! As for getting a salon job its still undecided for the moment if I do get into one it will just be one day a week to keep up my speed and skills but I will still be doing hair always!! If you ever need your hair done don't be afraid to shoot me a text and call me and we can set something up. :) After I get my licence in the mail of course!

But really though can we just talk about the fact that I am marrying the love of my life NEXT MONTH!! I never thought I would be about to say that since it feels like we have been engaged for a million years! haha but its almost here and its crazy, and kinda scary... but a good scary. This is one of those things in life that is going to throw surprises at you from every corner, it is the adventure of a life time and I am so incredibly excited to start it! Sure I don't know what the Lord had in store for us yet but I can't wait to find out! I am so excited to go through the temple and know that I will be sealed to my best friend ever and our family for time and ALL eternity how incredible it that I can only imagine now what it feels like and soon I will know!

January, February, and March all in one!

Man oh man, time has flown by since the last time I was on here.
Sorry folks I have had no life for the past three months but it is almost over.
The news update of the life of Elizabeth is this...
In the month of January I started day and night school which means, I am still in school Monday through Friday but Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday I am in from from 9 am to 10 pm... Kill Me Now! haha It is so hard being there so long all the time and on top of it I am still working at my wonderful job the three nights I can still work when I am not in school. Needless to say my body and brain have had enough! Good thing I graduate in THREE WEEKS!!! Holy cow how time has flown! I remember when I first started school and that's all my blog was about how much I love school, now I just can't wait to be done to start the new chapter in my life.
Thankful I haven't been in this alone, my dear sweet friend Hillary has been doing night school with me and we get through it together by doing crazy things...

Also it was Matt's birthday, and of course I spoiled him with lots of surprises!

That was January.

Now onto the month of LOVE<3
February was nothing exciting, just school and work of course.
Valentines day was school and work also, kinda lame I know but we tried to do our best to make it special for each other since it was our first together. I baked him banana bread and heart attacked his room while he was at work. Him being the adorable guy he is dropped my gift off and left it for me to find...
That was February.

And Last but not least the "Green" month we are in now. :)
Well march has been great and crazy and hectic because we are coming down to the wire!
The first week of march I was in class all week long preparing to take my state boards...
Of course we PASSED! Thanks "YoChell" ;)

Then the same day I took my boards I went HOME!!! My family and I went to San Francisco for fun and to celebrate my birthday! :)

It was so much fun and was the last family vacation before Matt joins us.
Then my birthday was St. Patties day as always! I celebrated by flying back to Provo, haha and of course having so much fun not being a teenager anymore! Matt picked me up from the airport and I opened my gifts which were great I loved them then we went to Chelsea's parents house for dinner and it was so so YUMMY! And after that it was very chill kind of boring because it was on a Sunday but still great!

Well that is the life of Elizabeth for now, thanks for reading :)

Its the most wonderful time of the year!

I am really bad at keeping this updated.
Anyways there is so much going on, school is going so good! I am now a "phase twoer"! So excited, it is nice going and doing something you love so much every day, it will be even better when I get paid for it after I graduate! Which is in MARCH! holy crap how much time flies, it crazy to think that almost a year ago I will have been living away from home. Looking back at the short time I have been gone I feel like  have grown so much and learned more than I ever have, emotionally and especially spiritually, I love it!
Wedding planning is crazy good, time is flying so much it seems like May is just around the corner I know it is 5 months away, but oh my goodness 5 months is not that long, I seriously I am so excited! Knowing that I get to marry my best friend and be with him for time and all eternity is the happiest feeling ever, it is still really surreal to think that this is all happening it sounds corney but I really do have to pinch myself sometimes to make sure I am awake and that it isn't a dream. I am so grateful for my Mamma and all her effort to make this so special for us because I don't know what I would have done without her! So thank you Mom, love you!
Speaking of my mom this time of year has been really hard for me, as much as I love nothing more then spending time with Matt's family it has been very hard for me to be away from my family for the holidays, it is so weird. I guess it is a good adjustment but I miss our fun traditions and am sad I won't get a chance to do them all with them this year, but I will get to see them for a short time which will be good!
Umm let see what else, oh I got a new job and like it a lot after changing jobs three times in less then a year I finally found the right fit, who would have thought it would be a bowling ally, but I really do love it! It is really fun and it fits my personality really well!
Also My roommates and I have done such fun things from going to dinner for birthdays to seeing the lights at temple square to decorating our apartment for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas! Whoo Hoo, I love the festiveness!

Yay! Yay! Yay!

Well hello friends!
This has been a long time coming, the update well lets just start with the BiG news and not leave in in suspense....
I am engaged!!! :))
Yes I am so so happy and am so excited!

Hopefully the question you are all asking is "how did he do it?"
Well here is the story, Matt and I went to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point with two of our cute married friends. Way fun double date right, so we walked around the museum for about an hour and then decided to go get something to eat and the cafe` was closed, so our friends decided that they were going to go walk around and I thought Matt and I were going to go with them but Matt insisted we get ice cream from the little ice cream parlor next to the closed cafe`. So we had been eating our ice cream for about 15 minutes when I had told Matt, "We should go find Jason and Jamie we are being rude not spending time with them here." and Matt being the adorable guy he is said, "oh no they are fine they probably need some alone time." So I brushed it off and about 5 minutes later we left to go walk around the gardens still at Thanksgiving Point, and there they have these pretty archways with flowers everywhere and it is very pretty. So we were walking down a path and there were lights on them and I am so oblivious I had looked down at the lights and said, "oh that is cool they have lights up, but they are really bright!" (Not catching on at all) which Matt could tell I had no idea yet. Then we walk around this little bend and there is a bend and sitting on the bench is this...
my very own "enchanted rose" like from my favorite movie Beauty and the Beast, so I still have no idea! I commented on how pretty I thought it was and how cute it was and then was going to keep walking but Matt was pulling me back and I didn't know why until he told me to look closer in the vase and hanging on the leaf of the rose was my BEAUTiFUL ring!!! I froze up and just kept saying "Really? is this Real?!?!" Little did I know that Matt made this for me the bottom part is a music box and plays the "Beauty and the Beast" song! So Cute right ;) Then he pulled my ring out and knelt down asking for my shaking hand as I was crying and asked me to marry him... of course I said... "YES"!!!
Now bring on the planning! I am seriously so happy I can't stop staring at my hand and haven't stopped smiling from ear to ear! Matt I love you so much, Love doesn't even do what we have justice I am so excited, grateful, and blessed to be spending Time and ALL Eternity with you! <333
Love you xoxoxo

To my ROOMMATES!

I would like to take this time to share how much these lovely ladies mean to me! My roommates are the best this that has happened to me since I've moved out. I was so terrified when I was being told all of these awful stories of ridiculous roommates and horrible experiences when it comes to roommates and I got the luck of the draw! The lord having his hand in my life he absolutely knew that I needed to live with these amazing girls! They all have made my experience here so much fun! I really don't think there is a dull moment in our apartment! Best of all we get along so freaking well it is WONDERFUL!! Girls can be so mean and viscous sometimes and the fact that there are no tiffs or corals just makes our living together so much better! These girls I love so much, I think of them as my big sisters that I never have being the oldest in my family. Thank you all for being such incredible examples to me! I love you :)

FiRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

In the words of Finding Nemo, "First day of school, First day of school!"
Let me just tell you it was AMAZiNG!! I truly have no other words to describe it because it was just AMAZiNG!! And the fact that I have been waiting for it for 8 stinking months and have been so excited there were absolutely no disappointments! So I'll just give you the play by play of my day... it began with my waking up at 7:00am to get ready and was so excited/ nervous that I got sick to my stomach. But that did not stop me, I walked to school and arrived promptly at 9:00am, was taken back to my class room where my class is a total of three, yes three.. the number includes me. My classmates are great! I really like the other two girls and am glad that my class is so tiny because that means that my learning leader and I will have more one on one time so I can make sure I kick butt and can pass with flying colors :) Anyways my favorite part of the time was defiantly when I got my kit! Holy WOW, it is freaking awesome!! Everything I dreamed it would be, all my tools are BEAUTiFUL, oh are they beautiful! I am so incredibly excited for this journey of my life, and the experiences of a lifetime I am going to get to have while being at this fabulous school! I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for the support and encouragement I am very great full for it :)
